Just completed my third run of week 6 training.
5 miles in 1:02:06
Not a rocket pace, but pleased as my PR for a 10k is 1:01
maybe this run/walk business will work.
For the longer runs I have been pushing in the first half of the run. So today I started by running 6 min walking 2. I was able to do that for 5 intervals and ten switched to the scheduled, run 3 walk 2.
I kept this at 5.5-5.6 mph so I wouldn't feel like I was dying towards the end.
Was definitely tired, but am pleased with my overall effort.
